White Settlement Real Estate
A northern suburb of Fort Worth, White Settlement’s name originated as a result of its long history. When it was first settled, there were two settlements in the area: one occupied predominantly by Native Americans (near where Fort Worth is located today), and the other one being occupied by white settlers. White Settlement families enjoy 12 area parks, four tennis courts, three nearby public golf courses and Lake Worth. Housing choices range from long established neighborhoods to very affordable newly built homes in new subdivisions with prices starting under $100K. The annual White Settlement Chicken Dance Festival is a long standing city tradition. City officials and the homecoming queen of local Brewer High School host this event each fall which includes the chicken dance contest for the Turkey Leg Trophy.
